We’re delighted that you have decided to work with us at One Accounting! We can’t wait to get started to working with you. So that we can focus on you from the get-go, we have put this page together to show you our “Pre-Flight Checklist” of what we need to get you onboard. We will also show you what you can expect over the next 90 days so we can get off to a great start together.

The preflight checklist

We’ll need a few things from you to get started.

  • First of all, watch this welcome video.
  • Please complete our onboarding checklist here.
    Provide payment details for your monthly fee here.

Here’s what to expect over the first 90 days

Day 1

  • The boring but important bits!
  • Getting you onboarded and being appointed as tax agent with HMRC.
  • We’ll set up Xero and other apps like Receipt Bank.
  • You’ll be introduced to your client manager (one of our accountants who will be working closely with you).

Day 30

  • You’ll receive some training on systems and apps.
  • By this stage we will have completed some work for you (such as payroll or a VAT return).
  • You’ll have a Zoom call with your client manager where we will dig a little deeper into Xero and look at some of the many great reports that you can get out of the system.

Day 60

  • We’ll have reviewed your business systems and got a really good feel for how you run things.
  • You’ll get a ‘Business Healthcheck’ bullet point document which gives our view of your financial position and how your current systems are working.
  • You’ll have a Zoom call with your client manager and discuss the options for improving things.

Day 90

  • We’ll have a “How’s it going” lunch meeting (or Zoom call if you prefer) with your client manager and director.
  • This gives you an opportunity to tell us how things are going.
