Virtual Finance Director

A Virtual Finance Director (or Virtual FD) is a new service which give you access to an experienced finance professional at a fraction of the cost of a full time FD.

Both of our founding Directors, Chris Thomas and Neil Faulds each have over 25 years finance experience gained from working at the sharp end of businesses across many different sectors. And, as business owners themselves, they know what works – and what doesn’t!

Virtual FD is completely tailored to you so the services we provide may vary. But they’ll usually include:

  • The duties of a traditional FD: Leading the finance function and advising the Board on financial and commercial matters. This will mainly be done remotely and on a part-time basis – but with regular check-ins with the business owners
  • Monitoring the health of the company with cloud technology like Xero, or FreeAgent
  • Providing back office service functions with our team such as book-keeping, management accounts and systems integrations
  • Offering insight and guidance on company decisions
  • Not being afraid to challenge the business owners and have ‘difficult conversations’ if the business is steering off-course

Get in touch now for a chat about our Virtual Finance Director service – we’d love to find out more about your business and your plans for the future.
