​Each UK company must have its own Registered Office. This acts as a mailing address for all Companies House and HMRC Corporation Tax documents, and is displayed on the public domain with Companies House. The address has also to shown on all company documents (letterheads, sales invoices, purchase orders and your website).

When people start a business, they often use their own home address as the Registered Office.However, this can lead to an increase in junk business mail and also means that your customers can find out where you live. It’s a good idea to keep your business and personal life separate, and perhaps you don’t want folk to know the address of your 5 bedroom mansion!

If you do not want to use your own premises as your registered office address then we can supply one for you. If your company is registered in Scotland, then this will be our Edinburgh office address. If your company has been registered in England, then you will need to have an address in England as your registered office. We can arrange this for you, through one of our partners.

We will receive statutory company notices and forward these onto you. We can also forward on or destroy any junk mail as you request.

As a director of a company you will also need to disclose a Service Address which will be on the public record at Companies House. By default this is your home address. If you do not want this to be your private address then you can use our office address if you subscribe to our Service Address service. We will forward onto you any mail which is received for you.
