At One Accounting we encourage our clients, no matter what size, to use Online Accounting Software for a few simple reasons:
It will save you time (and therefore money)
The two types of online accounting software we use, Xero and FreeAgent, are designed for our clients, not us. You don’t need a background in accounting or any financial training to use these systems. Reconciling your bank account is just a point and click exercise and both interface with countless apps that can integrate nearly every system you use within your business. Both systems can be accessed from anywhere you can access the internet through a laptop, tablet or phone and both are much more cost effective than more traditional accounting software packages.
It will save us time (and therefore your money)
Unlike many accounting firms, we don’t want to bill you for hourly bookkeeping to reconcile your accounts. We will if needed, and sometimes it’s unavoidable, but we would rather keep you organised through your accounting software and spend more time helping you build your business.
It’s like living in the future
The accounting industry has been a bit behind the times. Online software, or cloud software, has been around in other forms and making lives easier for over a decade. As a whole, the industry is moving towards the serene future of online efficiency - we just prefer to get there a little quicker than most.
